Coronation Street's Rob Mallard says that Daisy's stalker Justin will 'cross a line' with Daniel in upcoming episodes.

Coronation Street star Rob Mallard has hinted that his character Daniel may confront Justin (Andrew Still) in upcoming episodes.

Over the last few months, Justin has developed an unhealthy obsession with Daniel's fiancée Daisy (Charlotte Jordan), bombarding her with messages and making unwelcome visits to the street.

Next week Daisy sets the wheels in motion to get a restraining order against her stalker, but on the eve of the court hearing she is confronted by Justin letting himself into her house.

"Justin hasn't really had a reaction from Daniel other than Daniel taking him to one side to have a word with him," said Mallard.

"Justin thinks that he is not going to get any resistance from Daniel so he is going to keep pushing him.

"But Justin is about to find out that there is a line with Daniel and next week Justin will cross it."

He added: "Daniel feels really helpless and he suggests to Daisy that the way to solve this is to come off social media but Daisy is having none of that.

"He particularly feels like he can't protect Daisy because Daniel is not in the online world so it is completely unknown territory to him. He feels like he doesn't have a presence on social media himself to be able to wade in on anything."

Coronation Street continues Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
