Jared Goff stars as Los Angeles Rams continue winning streak

The Rams saw off the Minnesota Vikings 38-31.

The Los Angeles Rams scored touchdowns on all but one of their first-half drives as they carried their winning run into a fourth week.

Jared Goff’s side saw off their crosstown rivals the Chargers 35–23 on Sunday and continued their good form against the Minnesota Vikings, with the former first overall draft pick notching up five touchdowns and 465 yards in a 38-31 win.

Kirk Cousins (36 of 50 for 422 yards and three TDs) drew first blood, connecting with Aldrick Robinson for a 16-yard score, but Goff (26 of 33) hit Todd Gurley II, Cooper Kupp twice and Brandin Cooks as the Rams went into the half 28-20 up.

Sam Ficken put the Rams up by 11 with a field goal in the third at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, before Cousins gave the travelling fans hope when he connected with Adam Thielen for a 45-yard score and a two-point conversion to make it a three-point game.

Goff and the Rams had other ideas and less than two minutes later the quarterback tossed his fifth TD of the game, finding Robert Woods.

Dan Bailey’s second field goal of the night with 3:50 left to play put the Vikings within touching distance, but a Cousins fumble with just over a minute to play meant a kneeldown from Goff was all that was needed for the Rams to go 4-0 on the season.
